POTS’ Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony

POTS Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony will celebrate POTS dedicated volunteer network of 4,000 strong that contribute 30,000 hours of service annually.


The award categories and winners are:



The Fr. Ned Murphy, SJ Award is in honor of one of POTS founders who constantly challenged all of us to break down the barriers that separate us from those we serve.
Winner: Margaret Collins



The Teddy Cade Award is named after a former client, volunteer and staff person who modeled the organization’s values of hospitality and respect.
Winner: Maryanne Joyce



The Russell Scott Award is in honor of a former client and volunteer whose energy, commitment, and compassion for those in need was a model for us all.
Winner: Jodi Lyons



The Jack Usry Award, which POTS adds to its named volunteer awards in 2017, will be given annually to an exemplary high school or college student volunteer. The award is named after a dedicated and talented POTS student volunteer.
Winner: Erika Jarosch
