How accessible are public benefits? 2022 POTS Breakfast Forum. November 10

New York City residents living below the poverty line are often forced to choose between competing needs (rent, food, utilities, etc.). In response to the variety of needs faced by the most vulnerable, the Federal, State and City governments have set up a system of public benefits that greatly support families and individuals to cope with these challenges.

The 2022 POTS Breakfast Forum will be an opportunity to discuss with the community some of the most common obstacles in connecting the dots between available resources and critical needs.

Our distinguished panel will showcase initiatives created to improve the accessibility and impact of public benefits as well as projects aimed to elevate the voices of NY citizens to inform policy-making.
