Part of the Solution (POTS) will hold its annual Spring Gala on Wednesday, May 26th at 7 pm to honor Chris Bean and Maureen Gomez. Chris and Maureen have gone above and beyond in their dedication to service in the community and helping neighbors in their time of need.
As POTS Executive Director, Chris Bean guided extensive growth in the quality of service POTS provides to their community. To recognize his magnificent efforts, Chris will receive The POTS Founders Award for Distinguished Service at the Spring Gala.
Over the years, Maureen Gomez has taken charge to organize and bring life to the POTS community holiday meals and celebrations. To reward her outstanding performance, she will be awarded The POTS Heart of Gold Award.
Open Door, Open Heart will commend POTS’ endeavors in the Bronx community to create a loving and caring environment for their neighbors. The POTS organization takes exceptional care to nourish the needs and wishes of those they serve, and it’s time to celebrate those who make up the support structure of the community.
The event will be hosted by CBS-2 News Anchor Mary Calvi, and features artists, entertainers, and community leaders. We will be visited by Congressman Adriano Espaillat and MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle will introduce our distinguished honorees.
The benefit will be held virtually and aims to raise $350,000, one hundred percent of which will be given directly to POTS programs with the help of the Board members who covered all event expenses. We hope you’ll join us to honor our distinguished peers at the Spring Gala.
